If a new iPhone 6 is creating a lot of noise from the Apple front, it seems like the operating system to go with the phone also isn't standing out from rest and is trying to create as much sound as possible.
According to reports, the alleged and rumored images of the next version of iOS have made a leaked appearance on the web. The new image shows us what the iOS 8 mobile operating system for Apple-based devices might look like.
As shown via the leaked screenshots, it seems like the iOS 8 will look quite similar to the current version of iOS. The next iteration of the operating system will feature square icons with somewhat rounded edges.
But keeping aside the overall design, the image also seems to reveal the presence of new applications such as Healthbook, TextEdit, Preview and Tips.
As you may already know, Preview and TextEdit are the default picture viewing (also editing) and text editing apps that usually ship with Apple's desktop operating system OS X.
And while the icons for these apps don't look that different from their desktop version, they are not flat is shape unlike the rest of the iOS 7 design. However, it's quite likely that the final icons for the operating system will be quite different from that of the newly leaked ones.
The Apple-based new apps are said to help users to view, Preview and TextEdit files that are stored in the iCloud. However, gathering from the leaked images, it seems like the icons are far from finished as they are basically OS X icons for Preview and TextEdit.
Nonetheless, there's still some time left before Apple's next generation mobile OS eventually makes its presence felt among users, and still there's a lot to be changed or edited before the final release. So it's better that you take everything here with a pinch of salt. Check out the images here.
