Lenovo A6000: 25,000 Units Gets Sold Out in 3 Seconds on Fifth Flash Sale

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo is competing with the like of Xiaomi and Micromax Yu. In its fifth flash sale the manufacturer managed to sell 25,000 units of Lenovo A6000 smartphones on Flipkart in just 3 seconds.

In a press release, Lenovo has said, "The demand for the A6000 has been much higher than what we anticipated and we have received over a million registrations till now. We are happy to have sold over 1,00,000 units of the A6000 smartphone in the five sales. The next sale of A6000 will commence on March 11, 2015 where we will try and provide our consumers with a lot more units". Moreover, the registrations for the next sale will start on Wednesday, 25th February at 6 p.m.

Lenovo A6000 sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display, and comes powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 1.2GHz Quad Core Operating System along with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) on top of VIBE UI 2.0.

Coming in Black variant, the device comes with 8GB of internal storage and a expandable storage of up to 32GB. The device also features an 8MP auto-focus rear camera w/ LED flash, 2MP fixed-focus front camera, and powered by a 2,300mAh (Li-polymer, replaceable) battery which is claimed by the company to offer a talk time of up to 22 hours (2G), 13 hours (3G), 4G voice not supported and a standby time up to 11 days (2G/3G)/ 11.5 days.

Further, Lenovo A6000 comes with a Dual, Micro SIM slot and boasts dimensions of 141 x 70 x 8.2mm at a weight of 128grams. You'll also find a 2x speakers, Dolby Digital Plus, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20, DL 150Mbps / UL 50Mbps Bluetooth and BT 4.0 camera in the handset.
