Lenovo A6000 India Launch Invites are out for January 16: 10 Big Screen Phones Under 4G Threat!

A couple of days back, GizBot exclusively informed you that Lenovo A6000 which got launched at CES 2016, is supposed to launched in India this month itself.

We said that "Lenovo is already prepping to send out the India launch invites by this week and smartphone will launch in India by January itself."

Looks like, our source was correct, as the Chinese manufacturer has started sending out media invites for a Jan 16th event. The invite shows a Lenovo A6000 on the background and Lenovo has asked the media guys to save the date for January 16th, 2014.

Well, Lenovo A6000 is a 4G LTE smartphone and let us inform you the Indian version will come with 2.3 GHz frequency (band 40). At the same time, Lenovo has already confirmed that the Lenovo A6000 will be launched in India via exclusive online partner, Flipkart.

While, the phone has been launched at a price of of $169 (Rs 11,000 approx.), however, it is reportedly said that the Lenovo A6000 will be priced "below Rs. 10,000 in India."

Meanwhile, Lenovo A6000 features a 5-inch HD IPS display, Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe 2.0 UI OS, powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU alongwith 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory with Expandable option, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE / 3G connectivity, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, GPS and 2300mAh battery.

Basically, Lenovo is coming up with this smartphone in an attempt to dent the sales of the prevailing rivals in the budget phablet market including Xiaomi, Micromax and more.
