Lenovo P780: NBA Sensation Kobe Bryant to Promote 4000mAh Battery Smartphone

If American basketball player Kobe Bryant insists you to buy Lenovo P780...would you like to buy one? The Chinese major is busy prepping to announce an upcoming handset with a whopping 4,000mAh battery. Yes, you heard it right. Slated to announce in the Chinese market soon, the device has surely captured an attention in the minds of consumer. Recently, the behind -the scenes video was revealed featuring NBA star Kobe Bryant.

And the advert goes like this ... This is Kobe Bryant. Are you prepared for new style smartphone? Say hello to Lenovo.

Then more details were uploaded on Company's Sina Weibo account. Engadget (via My Drivers) reports that the upcoming device is said to be a successor to mega popular P770. The latter device comes with a 3,550mAh battery fitted inside. Naturally, the Lenovo P780 bring more juice, and better than expected internals. On the specifications side, it will feature a 5-inch 720p HD display, quad-core CPU, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Dual SIM, 1GB of RAM, 4,000mAh battery and an 8-mega pixel rear camera with LED Flash. The handset is expected to announce later this month. The pricing is still not out yet. Interestingly, as per one rumor, the device screen should support gloves and non-capacitive stylus. Even the Nokia Lumia 920 supports the same technology.

GizBot hopes that the upcoming P790 could make into Indian market sometime in June- July frame. The Chinese major is expected to release K900 in the Indian market. Its retail price should be around Rs.25, 000 in the India. The device has a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display , 2-GHz Intel Atom Z2580 processor, 2GB of RAM , Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 16GB of internal storage , and 13-mega pixel shooter on the back. It will be rolled out in the coming days.
