While most of the OEMs are coming up with slew of Android KitKat smartphones Lenovo has been on the silent mode for quite sometime. But today, the China-based tech manufacturer broke the silence and introduced a new smartphone.
Yes, Lenovo has launched its latest S850 smartphone in India at the price of Rs. 15,499. The phone obviously falls in the S Series and the China-based smartphone maker is offering the device in Pink and White colors.
Currently, Lenovo S850 is available for pre-order on company's official e-commerce site TheDoStore starting today and comes with a free snap stand case as well. Moreover, it would be available across 2000+ retail outlets and leading retail chains in India by the end of July 2014.
Basically, we can't call it a new smartphone as Lenovo S850 was unveiled at the MWC held earlier this year and comes with a mid-range hardware and software options as well.

Commenting on the new launch, Sudhin Mathur, Director - Smartphones, Lenovo India, said, "As smartphones become more mainstream, consumers expect intuitive and fast products from all premium brands. The need is to go beyond the expected and provide extraordinary design that reflects their personality."
He further added, "Lenovo S850 has been widely-recognised as a stylish and a powerful device that signifies Lenovo's best in-class design and the expertise to make smartphones that address the needs of the consumers. Devices like the S850 are efficient, responsive and fashionable addressing the key needs of consumers."
The Lenovo S850 comes at a pretty affordable price and features a decent specs. If compared to the latest entrant- Mi3 from Xiaomi, Lenovo S850 won't be much of a threat. However, it has got enough potential to beat all the remaining smartphones with KitKat flavor, which are being offered for lesser than Rs. 14,000.
