Lenovo Vibe Z Camera Samples: Highlighted features of Rear And Front Cameras

Lenovo's newest Vibe Z offering is one of the most promising smartphones that's currently up for sale in the Indian market. The device, as seen via the innumerable tests we have conducted with it, is easily one of the hottest products out there with features that could dwarf others players in the market.

But what makes the Lenovo-made Vibe Z such a special handset? Going by the specifications of the device, it poses a serious threat to the likes of Apple and Samsung in nearly every department possible. So what are the Vibe Z specifications like? Let's take a closer look:

Specifications
The device comes with a very potential set of hardwares. First of all, it features a Full HD 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display which churns out a pixel density of 401 ppi pixel density. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Also, the device comes with the powerful Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 800 which is a quad core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. There is also the presence of Adreno 330 graphic unit which will give a great overall experience to the user. There's also 2 GB of RAM allocated with the device running on Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS.

As far as photography is concerned, the Vibe Z from Lenovo also features a massive 13 MP rear camera with autofocus, f1.8 aperture lens and LED flash, which is capable of shooting pictures at 4128 x 3096 pixels quality.

On the front, there's a 5 MP front camera that's equipped with an 84°lens for wide-angle shots will be easy for taking selfies and making video calls.

Price
The Lenovo Vibe Z was initially listed in the market at the price of Rs. 35,999. However the device is now available at a reduced price of Rs. 33,999, and while it was already made available within the first 7 days in the country, retailing was also said to start in about 10 days maximum. The device is already available on the company's Online store TheDoStore.

And as a part of introductory offer, the company is also offering a free Z smart touch cover in the Vibe Z box that's worth Rs. 2,039. But then again, only numbers don't make up a device's performance and doesn't mention anything about its capabilities. So we take a deep look at what the device internally has to offer.

Our focus here is not on the kind of processor the device is running or which version of Android is powering the device, but the kind of camera that the Vibe Z has in-store for potential customers.

As we mentioned before, the Lenovo Vibe Z sports a massive 13 MP rear camera with autofocus, f1.8 aperture lens and LED flash, which is capable of shooting pictures at 4128 x 3096 pixels quality.

The back facing camera is really the one that makes most of the noise for the smartphone. Now maybe you all understand cameras better than the rest of us here, but if you are in some discomfort as to how mobile cameras work out and what are the general standards for same are, let us tell you that while the likes of Nokia have already chosen to redesign the camera lens, Lenovo has decided to do something that's completely out of the box -- offer an aperture of 1.8.

And that captures 33 per cent more light that the normal smartphone camera offerings.

Apart from that, the device has a front-facing 5 MP front camera that's equipped with an 84° lens for wide-angle shots will be easy for taking selfies and making video calls.

To begin with, both of Vibe Z's pixel rich cameras are nothing less than impressive. It's more on the grounds of feeling that as if the back camera was developed to compliment the one that's on the backside. To know more about the Vibe Z and to book yourself a unit, head over here

Contrast and Light Detection

Contrast and Light Detection

The primary camera offering of the Lenovo Vibe Z basically gives you a lot of control over the kinds of mechanics that are involved with the camera filters and modes, apart from offering related tools for producing light-rich and creative images. And while some may argue that all these modes and mechanics can easily be obtained via external apps and softwares, but isn't it already a treat to have all those features built in the phone?

A Macro Shot

A Macro Shot

Honestly speaking, the level of in-image detailing the camera offers is nothing less than brilliant. Try it out for a close-up or a macro shot and compare it with any other offering in the same price range. You will be amazed by the kind of quality you attain.

Moreover, the built-in tilt-shift mode of the camera has also captured our attention since the time we got hold of an unit. The advantage of this mode is that allows you to adjust an image straight from the camera. And if you must know, there are not many apps in the market capable of doing so in the market.

Dedicated Night Mode

On first use of the device and its camera in the night mode, you may question about the difference that it has brought about compared to others in the market. However, if that's so then you still haven't bumped into the "super-night" mode.

HDR On And OFF Mode

While Lenovo hasn't really focused much of the attention on the device's minute modes and features, as far as the camera is concerned, but it still needs to be the said that the kind of image quality you will see there is enough to be a key selling point of the device.

Images taken via the super-night" mode offer a more detailed picture quality, barring the fact that you took the image in quite low light conditions. Moreover, the final image will still have a more detailed look about it with the colors seemingly bursting out of the device's display.

Low Light Conditions

The Vibe Z's camera is enough of a feature to help you post more than perfect night time images on your personal Facebook wall. And that too if you are looking
ahead at the end of the day. So if it's for Facebook and emailing your friends, then the camera is one of the best offerings that you will find out there.
