LG G Pro 2 With 5.9-Inch FHD Display Officially Launched in India At Rs 51,500

While the company's G3 device is being spotted on Internet frequently, South Korea's second best smartphone maker LG has now officially launched its G Pro 2 device in India at the price of Rs.51,500. The device was already selling from online retailers since few days back.

First unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2014 held back in February in Barcelona this year, the G Pro 2 as the name suggests is a successor of the company's most popular G Pro device launched last year. The LG G Pro 2 comes packed with an exciting 5.9 inch full HD (1920x1080pixels) IPS Display.

The slim and sleek G Pro 2 inherits the seamless G Design, boasting of a 3.3 mm narrow bezel that maximizes the display area for an immersive, edge to edge viewing. The metal mesh finish on the back panel provides better grip and is more resistant to finger-points and smudges. With its refined rear key, the index finger is able to rest naturally on the curved back for smooth and convenient control of the rear key.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (2.26 GHz Quad-Core) and ADRENO 330 GPU coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The 13 MP OIS Plus Camera captures clear, bright and vivid imagery even in shaky or low light settings using Optical Image Stabilization plus technology. Other advanced camera features include 120fps HD video, slow motion video, the 4K Ultra HD recording that allows footage to be recorded in a resolution of 3840 pixels x 2160 lines. The Natural Flash and Magic Focus provide the option of preferred depth of focus before the saving of an image post shot taking. The very interesting Flash for Selfie feature can be used as a flash in low light setting to take a selfie. With an increased sensor size and reduced aperture from 2.6 to 2.2, users can enjoy a clear and lighter picture even in a pitch dark environment. When taking a picture with the front facing camera, the preview screen minimizes with a bright UI background. It has 2.1 MP front-facing shooter.

The smartphone comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants. You will also find a microSD card slot in the device which can take up to 64GB additional storage. There are connectivity options like Bluetooth Smart Ready (BT4.0) USB, Wi-Fi, NFC and SlimPort and 3G/HSPA+ Network.

LG G Pro 2, which is already available in India comes in two color variants viz. White and Titan Black. It is powered by a 3,200 mAh removable Battery.

The LG G Pro 2 also features the veritable Knock Code that ensures higher security and extreme convenience for the user. Knock Code - LG's patented possession and a premium UX feature, offers greater security as the pattern is entered on a blank screen using two to eight taps, allowing for more than 86,000 possible combinations for an unmatched level of security.

The LG G Pro 2 also comes with the stylish Quad Beat 2 headphones that detail sound and provide excellent sound quality.
