LG G2 4G LTE Variant Coming To India in Mid-March at Rs 46,000, Lifeband Touch Coming Soon

South Korea's second best smartphone maker LG has already announced an array of devices at the Mobile World Congress 2014, in Barcelona, Spain just a week ago. Among all, the most notable one was the G Pro 2 smartphone, while the other devices launched at the show mostly comprised of 4G enabled ones.

In the meantime, in India, LG has announced few more products today at its Tech Show 2014 taking place in Delhi. Included in the lot is the LG G2 4G LTE variant which the company says will hit the market shelves around mid-March. Also the pricing of the device has been revealed and it would thus be bearing the price tag of Rs. 46,000 for the 16GB variant and Rs. 49,000 for the 32GB variant. This device is a sequel of the 3G variant of the LG G, which was launched in India back in September last year. Thus the specs would be pretty much similar to the older one.

In details, the 4G variant would include a 5.2-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display which would churn out the pixel density of 423 ppi. It will come powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and runs on Android Jelly Bean.

It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) which is also capable of shooting video at 1080p quality. While on the front you will get a 2.1-megapixel front-facing snapper. As said earlier, the device comes in two variants viz. 16GB and 32GB of internal memory. It draws its energy from a 3000 mAh battery.

On the other hand, the company also announced Lifeband Touch wearable computing device at the same tech show. Moreover it also announced that the device's market availability within the second half of this year. However, the company has not disclosed the price of this one.

Originally unveiled at CES 2014, Lifeband Touch is a water-resistant fitness tracker, which keeps track of the user's calorie consumption, steps walked and other fitness related stuff. The devices packs a touchscreen OLED display, which features the fitness related details as well as incoming call details from the synced phone, time, and other information. Moreover, this one is very much similar to Samsung's newly unveiled Gear Fit device.

Apart from these, LG also announced one more thing about the company's Knock On feature. It said that the feature would be soon made available for the LG smartphones, including the latest L3 series of smartphones.
