Last year at the end of September, South Korea's second best smartphone maker LG launched its most innovative device LG G2 in India at the price of Rs. 41,500. The device broke the conventional placements of the buttons and impressed many fans with volume rocker and power key on the back of the phone below the camera placement.

 
LG G2 4G LTE Variant With Officially Launched in India At Rs 49,000

This year the device's 4G LTE variant got officially announced in India earlier this month. The 4G LTE variant of the LG G2 comes in Black, White and Gold color models and is priced at Rs. 46,000 for the 16GB variant and Rs. 49,000 for the 32GB variant.

The device has been launched in India today with alliance with Qualcomm which is one of the most popular chipset maker and Airtel Which will be the 4G network provider for the device. Moreover, Airtel 3G users can move on to 4G experience on their existing data pack with exactly same price.

LG Electronics, an innovator and trend setter in the mobile communications industry, brings out the all new version of the world renowned G2 smartphone, in its 4G LTE variant, in India. By delivering the quickest internet possible, LG's G2 4G LTE smartphone caters to brisk work processes, lowering the time spent on internet activities considerably.

To talk about the specs of the device, it is pretty much similar to the older 3G model. The LG G2 4G LTE variant comes with a 5.2-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display churning out a massive 423 ppi pixel density.

It comes powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with 480 MHz Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

There is a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, OIS, 1080p video recording at 30 fps and a 2.1 MP front-facing shooter as well.

The device comes with an array of connectivity options which include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+ 42Mbps, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS / aGPS.

The device which measures 138.5 x 70.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 14.3 grams comes in two variants depending on the storage capacity i.e. 16GB and 32GB of internal memory. However, the one which launched today is the 32GB model. It is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.

LG has also started rolling out KitKat 4.4.2 update to its G2 device in India.
