Android 4.4 Kitkat was introduced last week along with the eye-catching newly launched successor of Nexus 4, the Google Nexus 5. Following the launch, popular handset manufacturer HTC have already stated that Android 4.4 update will be rolling for select handsets in next 90 days.
Coincidentally, LG, a name synonymous with the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, is yet to disclose its plans to roll out Android 4.4 Kitkat update for its flagship handsets.
Now a French carrier, SFR, is believed to release Android 4.4 Kitkat for the LG G2 in the month of November or December 2013. As per the leaked document, the latest Android update will be released by over-the-air route (FOTA). It is unknown at this hour whether LG is interested to roll out Android 4.4 Kitkat update globally or in select territories. If the leaked information proved right, then LG G2 would get latest Android update before HTC made handsets.
