LG G3 Beat Officially Launched in India for Rs 25,000 With Laser Auto Focus

Just yesterday the LG G3 Beat went on sale on Infibeam at the price of Rs. 24,999 and today, the company has launched the same handset in the Indian market at the price of Rs. 25,000. The LG G3 Beat is offered in Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold versions.

The LG G3 Beat, in terms of competition will be standing up against the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5 mini smartphone in India which falls in the same price range. Essentially, both these devices are the miniature versions of the flagship devices - the LG G3 and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

LG G3 Beat: Key Specifications

The LG G3 Beat comes with a 5.0-inch HD IPS display offering an HD resolution of 1280 x 720p and a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. The smartphone houses 8GB of internal storage which can be upgraded via MicroSD card.

In terms of imaging aspect, the LG G3 Beat comes with an 8MP rear camera with Laser Auto Focus which is present in the LG G3 smartphone. Up front, you will get to see a 1.3MP snapper for taking selfies and making video calls.

What is quite interesting about the LG G3 Beat is that it also offers a 4G LTE support. However, other connectivity options like 3G (HSPA+ 21Mbps), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/ Glonass, NFC, and USB 2.0. The 10.3mm thick LG G3 Beat weighs 134 g and is fueled by a 2,540mAh removable battery.

The LG G3 Beat also comes with a lot of proprietary features like Touch & Shoot, Smart Keyboard, Quick Memo+, and Gesture Shot. Furthermore, the G3 Beat also includes LG's patented unlocking mechanism, the Knock Code, a customized locking pattern of three to eight taps, which allows for 86,000 possible combinations to wake and unlock the smartphone.
