Not long ago, a series of model numbers of, what could possibly be, different variants of the unannounced Xperia Z3 smartphone were leaked. Though, we are not very sure about these variants, we can at least spare some room for possibility of these being different variants based on carrier and connectivity.
But Sony is not the only brand which has been focusing its attention on bringing as many variants of its flagship devices. Apparently LG is also doing the same thing. If you are not aware, LG is also said to be working on the premium variant of the G3 smartphone.
But leaving the LG G3 Prime apart for a while, if past leaks and rumors are to be analyzed, just a few days ago, LG was reportedly said to be making plans to release a mini version of its G3 that should be called LG G3 Beat. This would be the variant that would possibly go on sale in China.
Moreover, the news that came up begging for some notice was the fact that the South Korean company is also looking forward to trademark the names of few other variants of the G3 along with the G3 Beat. These names are G3 Lite, G3 Vigor, and G3 Vista.
Interpreting the naming patterns, tech honchos have come up with a speculations that G3 Lite could be the mini G3. Since we last saw the LG G Vista heading for Verizon, the G3 Vista could probably be related to Verizon. However, there is no clue about the what the G3 Vigor would mean, may be for other Asian markets.
Information pertaining to these devices' specs, pricing and availability are not out yet. Thus you will have to wait for some new rumors to get the brief idea about these upcoming devices. Until then stay tuned to GizBot!
