The LG G3's miniature version, the LG G3 Mini, has been subject to multitude of rumors in the past few weeks. In fact, a lot has been said and written about the mysterious handset. Not long ago, the G3 Mini was surfaced in a listing on Indian import/export site Zauba. Back then no specifications were tipped around the G3 Mini, making the device even more secretive in nature.
Now it is being reported that the LG G3 Mini has been spotted for the Chinese market. After it tasted success with the G3 flagship, it seems that LG is apparently looking to expand its market share with the launch of the LG G3 Beat. Yes, you heard that right! The LG G3 Beat was recently shown off in China at this year's Tianyi Mobile Phone Trade Exhibition.
LG G3 Beat - Highlighted Specifications
The G3 Beat looks like a regular LG G3 phone in terms of looks and design. Of course it is much smaller than the regular LG G3. The new device has a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board memory.
The device also sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The makers have added a 2540mAh battery fitted inside. The LG G3 Beat runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.
The unit shown in China has dual-SIM connectivity. Furthermore, the device will also support Quick Circle case.
At the time being, there is no update available when LG will release the G3 Beat or G3 Mini in the market. No word on India release.
