There's no dearth to rumors surrounding the LG G3. The latest leaked info suggests that the phone in question is currently developed using the codename B2. Recently, a Sprint document revealed that the LG G3 will carry a model number LS990. If you can recall, the LG G2 had the model number LS980, when it was originally launched on Sprint last year.

Don't be surprised to see if the LG G3 comes with a design similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S5. According to a Bulgarian site, the LG G3 has similar dimensions to the S5. The phone will be made out of polycarbonate plastic, and will have metal finish to make it more premiums. Moreover, the purported device might feature the G2's trademark rear volume and power buttons.

Back in August 2013, LG showed off a prototype 5.5-inch QHD screen (2560x 1440). That time, LG didn't indicate on when the display would be fitted to a smartphone. Going by the latest rumors, it appears that LG has finally decided to use the QHD panel in the next-gen LG G2 aka LG G3. In December 2013, a Korean newspaper claimed that the LG G3 would be the first mainstream phone to use the Quad HD screen. Most recently, User Agent Profile was discovered on Sprint's website. It was an LG-made phone with a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution display.

Most recently, LG G3's User Interface, has just got leaked. The new press shot leak suggests more modern look and a flatter design. The image has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which again confirms the reports LG will indeed use its Quad HD display on the handset. Rumors have it that LG G3 might have custom intelligent features. Apparently, the phone will be well integrated with Google Now's abilities.

A new report straight from Korean claims the G3 handset to use LG's custom designed Odin chipset. The device could be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. This would be a change of strategy, as the LG G2 had a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC under the hood.
