South Korean tech giant LG has been putting every possible effort in promoting its much awaited flagship handset, the G3, ahead of May 27 debut date. Efforts to stop the tilt towards Samsung's Galaxy S5, to some extent, succeeded. With LG's next big event right around the corner, the rumor mill is churning at full speed.
On May 27, we'll know if the South Korean next big thing really is the long-fabled Samsung Galaxy S5 Killer. For time being, the much awaited LG-made smartphone, the G3, has been apparently leaked in full glory.
It seems that the company themselves revealed their newest flagship handset in a secret event held in LG's home market. The secret event was organized to give a sneak peek of LG's G3 flagship phone, before the whole world gets to know. Since it was a secret event, someone might have thought to capture several slides of a presentation, detailing the smartphone.
LG G3- All You Need To Know
Got enough of the LG G3 rumor mill? It's no secret that LG G3 rumors are as crazy as were HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5rumors, with rumors starting gradually before churning out of control.
As for the LG G3 containing a 5.5-inch QHD display? LG has said before that the G3 will use a Quad HD (2K resolution) display. Going by the new leaks, LG G3 will indeed come with a Quad HD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440-pixel, which will provide a super cool, 538 pixels per inch. LG's current flagship phone, the G2, sports a 1920 x 1080 screen resolution display.
In addition to the display size factor, the LG G3 will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM.
On the imaging front, the new device will come with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS+ feature, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The smartphone measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm, which is comparable to Sony's Xperia Z2. The internal storage is said to be 32GB, but sadly there's no mention of a microSD card slot for expanding that.
Last but not the least; the handset is arriving with the Android 4.4 kitkat out-of-the box, while a large 3,000mAh battery goes under the hood.
On the connectivity front, the handset will boasts LTE and LTE-connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC and more.
