The forthcoming LG G4 flagship device is officially set to be announced later in the evening , and as the launch date nears LG fuels the G4 hype train with new information.

After a successful debut of the G3 in 2014, the company is looking to built on that insane success with a much improved G4. Like the S6, we have been bombarded with new details about the upcoming LG G4 flagship and everything points out at a very powerful smartphone from the company.

LG G4 - Design

Starting with the design, the G4 will reportedly retain its design as its predecessor. This is actually great news since LG's G series lineup is regarded as one of the best designed smartphones in the market. So, continuing the same design philosophy would be the ideal step for the company. The new LG G4 is expected to be made available in metallic gray, ceramic white, shiny gold and genuine leather options.

LG G4 - Display

Next, coming to the display, the phone will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display (2560x1220p). It is said to be 25% brighter and 20% wider colour-range than conventional QHD screens seen in Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9+.

LG G4 - Performance

Inside, the new LG flagship will reportedly feature Snapdragon 810 processor. There will be 3GB of RAM onboard along with storage options of 32GB, 64GB and even 128GB.

LG G4 - Camera

LG G4 is said to be the world's first smartphone to feature a camera (16MP) with f/1.8 aperture, fastest auto-focus feature and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) v2.0. On the front side, it is expected to have a 7MP shooter with 3264x1836p resolution clicking ability.

LG G4 - Software

As for software, expect the UX 4.0 built on Android 5.0 Lollipop to be quite fluid and light like its previous versions. LG recently teased its UX 4.0 user interface that we'll feature in the G4.

LG G4 - Battery

Finally, for battery, expect it to be around 3,400 mAh, which is quite a big considering today's standards.

LG G4 - Connectivity

Connectivity features on the LG G4 are expected to include LTE Cat.6 or Cat.9 connectivity with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, NFC, and microUSB v3.0.

LG G4 - Release Date and Price

The LG event will take place on April 28 in New York, London, and Paris followed by an April 29 launch in Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul. According to media reports, LG G4 is expected to be priced around $1060 or about Rs. 67,840.
