A few days back GizBot team reported that Xperia Z4 won't be released in MWC 2015, now there's another flagship phone which is not going to make its debut in the MWC 2015.
Back at the CES 2015, an official from LG Electronics said,"when LG rolls out G4, they don't want it to be like most handsets in the market."
We guess the official is right in terms of specifications of the upcoming flagships. All the flagships are going to have the same range of specifications like qHD display, Octa-core processors (most preferably Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 South). Even the leaks on these upcoming smartphones confirms there will be similar hardware features for all.
LG doesn't want to rely on the same hardware that can be found in all the other devices, they want to make G4 to be unique in the market.
As per reports, ZDNET Korea, LG officials gave a hint about the upcoming G4 in the company's Q4 2014 earnings call. They said that their focus is more on the design and the camera. This suggests that we might see a complete new flagship phone from LG.
Further details like how the design will be? Will there be any resemblance to the predecessor G3 and the camera speculations are not revealed. There's a chance of 20MP to be offered for LG G4.
The release date of this upcoming smartphone from LG will be on Q2, as the South Korean company is planning for a launch event in Q2. Even the LG G3 was also launched in May 2014, this suggests that LG has its own plan for their launch events.
