LG Gelato : Another Master Class From LG
Ever since the Android OS began to make its mark in the industry mobile phone manufacturers have been working by hook and crook to gush out newer models each day. No manufacturer wanted to lose out in competition. And as a result today customers are provided with an array of models based on Android Operating System. The range includes small and affordable multimedia phones to high end and top of the line Smartphones. The Android frenzy has gripped India just as it had spread across Europe and the Americas.

LG is a pioneer in Android technology and they have introduced a large number of Android powered mobile handsets in India. They have a string of models waiting to make an impact on Indian shores.
Today we make a small preview of an upcoming LG model that is based on Android. The model is christened LG Gelato. It is in a rumoured state so much is yet to be known about the phone. It is a multimedia featured phone that offers superb performance with all credit going to its Android roots.

The LG Gelato has features like LCD touch screen that offers a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The screen size is not yet revealed but is expected to be decently large to offer good visual playback and interface compatibility. The menus and tabs are expected to be neatly arranged on the cues of modern day Android based interfaces. The phone will be expected to have medium dimensions.

The LG Gelato will pack in a neat entertainment module that offers support for a wide variety of multimedia formats including MP3, MP4, WAV, WMV, AAC+, etc. The Gelato will spot a high resolution camera capable of video recording also. The camera will also mark perhaps an LED flash and Digital Zoom. But the Pixel rating of the phone is not confirmed but might be a 5 Mega Pixel one most probably.

The phone will have all the latest features even in connectivity options that include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB PC sync. It will also feature high speed 3G internet access and download speeds of up to 14Mbps. The phone will also provide 2G internet technologies such as GPRS and EDGE. The phone will have around 160 MB of internal memory and is rumoured to have an external Micro SD expansion slot of up to 32 GB.

It will be having an Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS under the hood coupled to a very fast processor to offer seamless performance standards.
The LG Gelato is still in the shipping stage so we cannot even determine an approximate price for the phone. But LG is expected to price it aggressively in order to gain significant share in the Android market.
