LG's upcoming G3 smartphone has been leaked several times in the past. From press renders to full specifications leak, the tech community has already seen everything. But the company's flagship handset is soon going to be released in full glory on May 27 this year. Thus the day is not too far.
Moreover, LG has already put up the device on its official website and the page has a few LG G3 teasers. Also the company has revealed the phone's official model number - D855. LG G3 would be the first phone with a QHD display from LG and it is likely to give a tough time to devices like Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 and Sony Xperia Z2.
To wrap up the specs of the handset, taking the rumors and leaks into account, The LG G3 is expected to come with, 5.5-inch QHD IPS display with very thin bezels. It would run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 chipset.
Imaging hardware would consist of 13MP OIS camera with 2160p video recording capability and true-tone flash but there is no word on the front facing shooter.
You will also see a redesigned rear control deck, microUSB port, a microSD slot and Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest LG UX launcher.
Surprisingly, one of the Finnish online stores Kasuplan has listed the LG G3 for as low price as €610 for the 16GB model and €660 for the 32GB model. Moreover, the retailer claims to be stocking the Gold variant of the handset and says that the 32GB version of the smartphone will sell for €659 (around $900).
It should be noted that the LG G3 will also come with a QuickWindow mode, which will be enabled via special Quick Cover cases for LG G3. These will sport a circular window, allowing users to access a small portion of the screen without having to flip the case open.
