LG Nexus 4: Futuristic Wireless Charging Pad and Official Press Shot of the Smartphone Leaked Online
Images have already started to leak for what is supposed to be the wireless charging pad for LG Nexus 4. This leaked from the device’s FCC filing revealing the presence of hardware necessary for supporting this feature. LG however has not confirmed on this officially. It is not clear whether the image of the wireless charging pad being released is reliable or fake. There are analysts who have already criticized the images leaked to be nothing more than a conceptual 3D rendering.
According to the PhoneArena report, the image suggests that it is designed with sloping architecture giving doubt on how LG Nexus 4 device will remain attached towards the pad without leaping down. There are some rumours pointing towards the use of magnetic technology too. We have to wait long for confirming this as the device is expected to be officially launched by the end of this month. Sources also suggest LG Nexus 4 will use another special black cover for charging the phone through wires. This news was first published by ‘MoDaCo’ website. The new smartphone is expected to have characteristics similar to LG Optimus G.
On the other hand, @Evleaks last week outed yet another image of LG manufactured Google Nexus 4. This time the website has released a more detailed image featuring both front portion and back portion of the smartphone. Google was planning to release this much awaited device on October 29 which was the slated official release date, however the date has been rescheduled owing to Hurricane Sandy which is about to pass through New York City in US.
A number of images have been leaked by @Evleaks till now in addition to details regarding the features and specifications of this device. LG Officials in India have also hinted about the device to be released in the country a few weeks even before Google announced the rescheduled date of official release.
According to @Evleaks, Google Nexus 4 by LG will feature a 4.7 inches of screen display enhanced with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels for ensuring high quality movie watching experience and images for users. The other expected specs include a powerful 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro quad-core processor and a 2GB RAM. LG is rumoured to release this device in 8GB and 16GB versions. For business users and professional users, 16GB version will be the right choice. Smaller variant is recommended for basic usage where as 16 GB version is desired for business users.
Google Nexus 4 will also include 8 mega pixels rear camera and 2,100mAh battery storage ensuring better talk time and standby time. The key attraction of the device is going to be the rumoured usage of Android 4.2 operating system by Google. LG and Google so far have been tight lipped about this upcoming phone.
