LG Nexus 4 is already up for sale in many countries across the world including US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia and Spain from November 13. Now there is good news for Indians who were eagerly waiting for the launch of this Google branded LG smartphone in the market.
Already last week a news swirled in the tech media world that the handset was ready to hit the retail shelves in the country by the end of this month.
Well now, there is a solid evidence for that! Online retailer Saholic has listed the 16 GB version of the smartphone on their website with a 'Coming Soon' status. There is also a 'Tell Me When Available' button next to the listing, when clicked it prompts the visitors – “LG E960 Nexus 4 16GB will be available by 30/11/12.”
Also, the Facebook page of Saholic has an album of Nexus 4 photos offering a look at the exterior and build of the Google smartphone.
In the past, report also surfaced, which informed that Nexus 4 was listed for pre-order in ebay.in, one of the leading e-commerce websites in the nation for Rs 23,490 and Rs 27,490 for 8GB and 16GB variants respectively.
Detailing on the specs of Nexus 4, the handset boasts a 4.7-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels with Zerogap technology, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera for video calling, NFC, wireless charging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 2,100 mAh Li-Po battery with 15.3 hours of talk time and standby of 390 hours.
Further, the handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean an incremental version of Android 4.1 with a host of features including Gesture typing, Photo Sphere, Miracast, multi-user support on tablets, Daydream, improved Google Now and lock screen UI improvements.
Going by the recent rumors, though only a Black color variant of Nexus 4 was unveiled by Google, an Android4fans report claims that a photo of a White color Nexus 4 smartphone has been leaked. Though it is yet to be officially confirmed, there are reports claiming that a new model of the smartphone is in the pipeline by Google and LG.
