LG Nexus 5 Update: 4.96 Inch Display, Snapdragon 800 And 4G LTE Connectivity
As LTE connectivity becomes ubiquitous around the world, it is natural to see Google or any other technology firm brings trending technology to the masses. Last year proved big for both LG and Google, as their Nexus 4 went on to become quite popular in popular markets globally.
The only disadvantage attached with Nexus 4 (still available in the market) is the missing 4G LTE connectivity. Despite its low price tag, critics bombarded with questions related to missing 4G LTE. Now, it seems that Google has finally addressed this issue with Nexus 5. The device is yet to be announced officially.
In a report published by S4gru (via Engadget), the LG D820 could be the new Nexus 5. The phone recently went through FCC trials. The documents leaked via FCC shows that the supposed LG made Nexus 5 would include 4G LTE connectivity. It is also being said that the Nexus 5 does not have a non-removable battery.

Moreover, America's leading carrier providers AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile would like to carry Google Nexus 5. LG D820 features 7-band LTE, the standard is used by AT&T among other network providers. Meanwhile, Engadget has more information about Nexus 5 or LG D820.
The publication says the device would carry Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC. Further, no could deny the fact that Nexus 5 would feature upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat mobile OS. Brian Klug from Anandtech has come his piece in which the display size, height and width of Nexus 5 are mentioned. The handset will have close to 5-inch display(4.96-inch), and measure 131.9mm tall and 68.2mm tall.
Last week, Google issued a promotional video in which one of the Google employee was snapped using unheard Nexus 5. A closer look at the video revealed supposed Nexus 5 to have huge camera sensor and plastic chassis. Most probably, the LG Nexus 5 will arrive later this year featuring Android 4.4 KitKat. Google is yet to reveal what's new about the new Android version.
Few days back, Vietnamese Tinhte had reported that LG Nexus 5 would be similar to recently announced G2. The phone is said to flaunt similar design minus rear touch pad controlling system. The report also mentioned that the phone would feature a 5.2-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB RAM and lastly 13MP rear back shooter. Like Nexus 4, Google is planning to sell Nexus 5 unlocked via Play Store.
