LG Optimus 3D 2 more specs out in the market
This year is all about 3D capable devices. During the Consumer electronics show held during the month of January we got a sneak peek of some of those devices. Now as the world is moving on from normal two dimensional displays to three dimensional ones, more and more manufacturers are coming up with their own 3D devices.
From the beginning of the year 2012 the tech world is eagerly expecting any news about LG’s latest 3D smart phone termed as LG 3D MAX which is also known as LG Optimus 3D 2. This is an upgrade version of the 3D phone which was announced during the last mobile world congress. Some press shots of the device is now available in net and the looks of the device looks very promising.
The first thing that you will notice about the phone is that its body is surprisingly very thin. It has a cross sectional thickness of only 9.8 mm. This is a very interesting fact when compared to other 3D capable mobiles in the market which are a bit bulky. The display is also of cutting edge technology. LG used a high resolution IPS LCD display for the screen.
This might be the same type of display that is featured in Nitro HD model. This screen will ensure the most dynamic and vibrant visuals but at the cost of a slightly reduced battery life. 3D technology combined with this high end display will give the users some breath taking visuals. The display is expected to be around 4.5 inches.
The screen will have a parallax barrier layer and this is the part responsible for providing 3D content. The interesting thing is that you can enjoy 3D visuals without even having to wear those chunky glasses. These glasses where some what a major limitation when it comes to 3D technology. Now the technology seems refined and people can do away with glasses and enjoy 3D contents without any additional equipment.
The phone will have dual cameras at the back and this can shoot 3D pictures and record 3D videos. There will be a number of 2D to 3D up converters in the phone. Also it will have editors and other software associated with 3D contents and Operating System it will be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich?
LG Optimus 3D 2 will be first launched in Korea. This device will find its way to different parts of the world soon. No price quote is offered by the company as for now.
