LG Optimus G, Optimus Vu 2 Officially Announced: What About Features?

According to the translated press release of LG, the Optimus Vu 2 will be the first smartphone with infrared feature in the world, letting it to operate several products including home appliances including set-top boxes, audio systems, air conditioners and more.

As per the company's statement, the sensor and the Q Remote will work with devices of any brand, which is promising. Moreover, the app can be accessed directly from the lock screen, without the necessity to get into the home screen.

LG has not revealed the hardware specifications of the smartphone till now, but looking at the screenshot posted with the news, Optimus Vu II will also have a 5-inch 1024 x 768 pixels of resolution display. The smartphone is slated for released global release, including Korea in the next month.
