The new monster on block - LG Optimus G Pro is said to be launched in India sometime in mid-June and will hit the selves around early July 2013. The phablet was unveiled for the Indian consumers at LG Tech Show 2013 back in April. The grand event saw many mesmerizing products to be launched in the coming months.
LG Optimus G Pro, begin one of them is a large sized Android smartphone with a 5.5-inch display with 1080p HD resolution, 1.7GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory which can be further via microSD card, a 13-mega pixel rear camera, 2.4-mega pixel front facing camera, 4G LTE , 3G , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. The specifications are indeed solid as LG understood that it would be difficult to compete with likes of Samsung Galaxy models, unless you have a powerful hardware.
Today , GizBot brings the most discussed features of the Optimus G Pro. It's a beast and should be comparable to Samsung Galaxy S4, Lenovo's forthcoming K900 ( soon to be announced in India), and Sony Xperia Z, in terms of internal specifications to be precise.
LG made Optimus G Pro runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. There is an LG skinned UI on the top of v 4.1 Jelly Bean. There is a great feature built in called QMemo, which actually turns the device into live notepad. This special apps can be traced in the notification bar.
Universal Remote Control
Magic Remote Pad and Text Keypad options for QRemote work as a remote control for LG's Smart TVs.
The feature uses eye recognition technology which can track user's eyes and play or pause a video based on his/her's line of vision. Meaning, If the viewer's eyes deviates away from the device, the front camera pauses the video automatically. Once the user looks back at the device, the video resumes playback from the last point. Needless to say, the user is not required to operate any playback controls, manually.
Dual Camera function
Just like, Samsung Galaxy S4, the Optimus G Pro will allow customers to capture pictures using both the front and back cameras for a picture-in-picture composition.
LG Optimus G Pro also has many other features including VuTalk, Notebook, QSlide 2.0 , QucikMemo, QuickButton, LG Tag + and Smart Screen like features built into it. The handset also supports Dolby Mobile -it turns the device into mini cinema hall.
