LG Optimus L-Series 2: L7, L3 And L5 Uber Stylish Successors Announced Ahead of MWC 2013

It's official! In Korean, it goes like this -공식의. LG has finally unveiled the long awaited L-series 2. Dubbed as the successors of L7, L3 And L5 launched last year, L7 2, L3 2 And L5 2 will be flaunted as paer of LG L-series 2 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month. The south Korean company has officially announced the coming of LG Optimus L7 2, first, into Russian market, followed by other territories.

For a long time, long discussions were going on, in regards of LG's most successful L -series. The company said in official statement that they have managed to sell 10 million L-series devices in the last 10 months. Looks like, a rival series to Samsung Galaxy series.

LG Optimus L Series 2 - A look at the highlighted features

The company says that the L- series 2 has been designed with four essential elements in mind: Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design and Smart LED Lighting on the home button. LG has used IPS LCD display, instead of traditional TFT LCD panel. The L-series packs some new unique features such as - QuickMemo, Quick Button and Safety Care, to be precise.

LG Optimus L7 2

Let's look at the highlighted specifications of LG's new mid-level budget smartphone. Stuffed with 1GHz dual-core processor (powered by - Qualcomm MSM8225), 768 MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, an expandable memory via micro SD card , a large 4.3-inch WVGA IPS LCD display, an 8-mega pixel rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA camera on the front panel for long video chat and lastly a promise of 2460mAh battery. The device will be powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

As per the official press release, the company also officially announced LG Optimus L 3 2 as well as L 5 2.

LG Optimus L3 2

The LG Optimus L3 2 , is a low cost handset with a 3.2-inch IPS LCD display, 5-mega pixel rear camera, powerful 1 GHz processor, 384 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Dual SIM, A-GPS ,1540mAh battery, expandable memory expansion (up to 32GB ),and a weight of 110 grams. The device supports Android v2.3.

LG Optimus L5 2

The LG Optimus L5 2 , is a low-to-medium ranged smartphone with a 4.0-inch WVGA display, 1GHz Cortex-A9, 5-mega pixels rear camera, 512 MB of RAM, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, 1700mAh battery, and a weight of 125grams.

LG says that the above mentioned LG L3 2 and LG L5 2 will be announced at a later stage. But, the specs of these fabled devices remain the same.
