Here is another bit of of news that will make the LG G3 owners happy to some extent. The South Korean smartphone maker is pushing a new firmware update version V10L for the unlocked version of the LG G3. This is a major and a new Android 4.4.2 build.
The V10L Android 4.4.2 update roll out has been spotted in Europe, India and Thailand until now, but it should soon reach LG G3 Unlocked devices worldwide.
The new update offers stability improvements before the future Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be rolled out for the LG G3 in 2015. Other features that the update brings in are a lag-free interface, and a better battery life.
It is being rolled out OTA (over-the-air) and through LG Mobile Support Tool software. Note that the download package of V10L measures somewhere around 175MB and you should use the Wi-Fi connection in order to complete the download.
You should create backups for all the files that are currently stored on your LG G3 before starting to flash the update.
If you have not received the new update in your LG G3, you might want to check out for the same manually by heading to the Settings> About Device > Check for Update.
