LG, the South Korean giant, has seen many up and down in the company's history. The makers behind Nexus 4 are ready to hit consumer's pocket by announcing the LG Optimus LTE 3. It is the same handset that was recently announced last month at Mobile World Congress known by the name of the Optimus F7. The device will be available on SK Telecom with an estimated price of 600000 South Korean Won (Rs. 30,126)
The LG Optimus LTE 3 is limited to South Korean market. Last week, GizBot has informed you about this very device along with its alleged specifications. Now the folks over at LG (via Engadget) have announced the Optimus LTE 3 at their homeland. As of now, its Indian release is yet to be communicated by LG India. The device supports 4G LTE network and, unfortunately, India supports TDD (Time Division Duplex) version of 4G network. In many parts of the world that includes USA among others; current 4G networks support FDD (Frequency Duplex Division). You might have wonder why Apple never came out with 4G LTE enabled iPhones and iPads in India.
LG Optimus LTE 3 - Specifications and features
The LG Optimus LTE 3 comes with a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels , 1.5GHz dual core processor , an 8-mega pixel rear camera and 1.3-mega pixel camera on the front, 2GB DDR2 RAM , 8GB of internal storage( expandable) , 4G LTE / HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and 2540mAh battery. The handset will be offered in White and Black colour.
LG Optimus F Series - Specification and features
The South Korean power house unveiled plethora of handsets at just concluded MWC. The new F-Series comes with serious power for hungry smartphone addicts. The LG F7 flaunts a 4.7 true HD display (720p), 2GB of RAM, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 8GB of internal memory (expandable), an 8-mega pixel camera and most importantly 4G LTE connectivity.
While the second handset - LG F5 comes with a 4.3-IPS LCD display, 1GB of RAM, 1.2 GHz dual core processor and 5-mega pixel shooter on the back. Other specs include: Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 are pretty standard. Both handsets are powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
