Although a major handset maker back home, its devices in India are largely unknown to many. Steep pricing of its handsets in India have muddled its potential success, and the recently unveiling of the Oppo R5 certainly isn't going to work in favour of the company.
Now the question arises whether Oppo has a new big-ticket handset to save itself from being wiped off in the premium segment. Apparently, the Chinese company is considering to release the successor of the Find 7, which has a major changes to get success globally.
Oppo is rumoured to be producing a high-end smartphone, and it could start with the Find 9. To ensure the new handset is desirable, Oppo is apparently preparing to stuff the Find 9 with fancy hardware internals.
GizChina has reportedly spotted a few alleged shots of the forthcoming Oppo Find 9. Meanwhile, the leaked live photo suggests that the successor of Oppo Find 7 will sport a larger display.
At the same time, it's being speculated that the handset's design shouldn't be radically different compared to the Oppo Find 7.
A rumoured Oppo Find 9 may join the ranks of the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro and LG G Flex 2, at least, in terms of spec sheet. Supposedly, it will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor and sport 4GB of RAM.
As of now, there's no word on the device's release date or exact specs. We'll make sure you're kept up to date.
