Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 - the two Windows Phone 8 flagship smartphones of Nokia have hit the Indian market starting today, kicking in the opportunity to the Finnish handset vendor to come back in to the smartphone battle against giant competitors penetrating in the Indian market and abroad including Samsung and Apple.

This was one more interesting feature demonstrated at the media launch event which emphasized on that Kid's Corner would let the kids use their parent's phone to play games and access select and customise apps from the Kid's Corner section, even if the phone is locked. Parents can add apps and games and set a password for the lockscreen. All that has to be done is swiping from right to left from the lockscreen to open apps and games from the kid's corner.

NFC - Near Field Communication, offers easier mobile payment options simply by tapping the screen, however, it is a big question when it comes to its penetration in India.

Windows Phone 8 With Microsoft Office

Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8 comes with beautiful lock screen, multiple Windows feature, free Microsoft Office software with complete access to SkyDrive. Moreover, there is access to all types of files from PowerPoint presentations to Excel files with predictive text inputs.
