Martian Notifier Review: Battery Performance

The Martian Notifier, we mentioned before, comes powered by two different batteries. Firstly, there's a replaceable watch battery that powers the watch-face portion of the Martian Notifier. It has also been rated to provide up to 2 years of juice.

The other one, in this regard, is the lithium polymer rechargeable battery that powers the smart part of the watch like the ones dealing with the notifications and OLED. By our standards, on a single charge, the watch will go a decent six days before you need to charge it up again.

Martian Notifier Review: Verdict

While the smartwatch segment continues to grow and evolve, the Martian Notifier is an example of how you can keep things to the minimum while offering whatever you need, apart from a feel good look factor. The watch's power lies in its timely notifications, and although most in the same class will indeed boast a boatload of features, none can match to the preciseness of the Notifier.

To be fairly honest, the Notifier isn't really a device of the ages. In fact, it could be categorized as something that features more watch factor than the smart factor. But there's still room for improvement. And the early signs are quite exciting.
