While the low-end smartphone market has been getting a lot of incoming devices off late, one more smartphone that has hit the segment recently is the AXD11 GenXDroid7. The device comes from Maxx Mobile.

Maxx Launches AXD11 GenXDroid7 Smartphone at Rs 3,890

The latest smartphone from Maxx Mobile is priced at Rs. 3,890 ad comes with a pretty resonable specifications if the price-specs ratio is to be looked at. The phone is available in black and white color options and includes applications like MAXX World, MAXX life Box, MAXX Care, MAXX New Launch.

Maxx AXD11 GenXDroid7: Key Specifications

The AXD11 GenXDroid7 features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display churning out the pixel density of 233ppi. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

Although, the smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the company however promises to upgrade the smartphone to Android 4.4 KitKat later.

Also the company has offered a 3.2-megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash, while it also sports a 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper. The smartphone includes 4GB of inbuilt storage along with a bundled 16GB microSD card. The device supports up to 32GB of microSD card.

The smartphone comes with GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options. Additionally it is a dual SIM enabled (WCDMA + GSM) handset.

The smartphone which measures 122.3x62.3x10.4mm, and weighs 71.1 grams comes powered by a 1400mAh Li-ion battery.


Since a lot of smartphones have started making its way into the Indian smartphone market with Android KitKat OS at an affordable price range, the latest offering from Maxx Mobile might have to face a bit of hard core competition. Celkon, which has promised to become the best in the low-end segment has ample number of devices, which comes with the similar specs and price tag. Moreover off late, even Intex has added their new devices in the same segment.
