There were rumours concerning the arrival of an Android powered Meizu mobile with Flyme OS 1.0 skin. Meizu has finally come up with a formal announcement of its new smartphone labelled as Meizu MX 4 Core. The formally announced specs are a little more interesting than what we heard in the rumours. It is more powerful than its predecessor model and is powered by Samsung’s quad core Exynos processor.
The new Samsung processor included in this handset is said to offer about 60% more faster performance and efficiency while considering the Meizu MX handset. The 4 inch display screen of this handset is improvised by 960 x 640 pixels resolution which is pretty decent considering similar handsets. This touchscreen display offers convenience to users, as well.
Other notable spec of this Meizu MX 4 Core handset is the 8 megapixel camera at the back side for shooting favourite snaps. Users can choose between built in storage options of 32GB or else 64GB.
The faster and smarter performance of the Meizu handset is assured with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Along with numerous inbuilt features that come with the ICS OS, users have ultimate mobile experience as they can look forward to advanced apps, as well.
Meizu’s Flyme OS 1.0 can be seen on top of the ICS which is said to be a custom user interface. In addition to the interesting ICS features, this OS includes special super cool features like phone-finding service along with cloud storage options. The MX and M9 owners are eagerly waiting for the update of Flyme OS 1.0 to their handset which is promised to be around the middle of July.
The appearance is similar to its earlier dual core model. The phone comes in a back crystal shell which is coloured including milky lime, lilac purple, ivory white and misty pink. Meizu MX 4 Core is said to reach the smartphone market by the 30th of this month. The rumoured prices were around Rs.25,000/- for 32GB and around Rs.30,000/- for 64GB. The exact price details of this Meizu phone is yet to be confirmed.
