Metal Body Samsung Galaxy S5 : A reality?
The first name that comes to mind when you shop for a smartphone is that of South Korean electronics giant, Samsung. The makers of the Galaxy S4 and Note 2 are planning to make a metal bodied Samsung Galaxy S5 since they have always been criticized for making low grade handsets made of polycarbonate plastic.
Even Samsung's flagship handsets: Note 2 and Galaxy S3, are made of bendable plastic. On the other hand, Sammy sells its premium range at par with competing brands like HTC, who are not as popular as Samsung. Despite having a smaller market share than Samsung, HTC make its high-end smartphones from the higest grade of aluminum. The same goes for Apple's gorgeous iPhones.
Samsung is now under pressure to take action and mend its plasticy ways. The coming of Samsung Galaxy S5 in metal would not only make the tech vendor confident from its product, but it would also increase the chances of S5 to take on iPhone 6 in a better way.

If we are to believe a report published by ETNews, then it seems that Samsung is planning to make Galaxy S4's sequel by casing the phone's components in metal. Samsung has only six months to set the mass assembly line to manufacture the new device. Reportedly, Samsung will do the pre-production process of the metal chassis in order to get the design right, so that later, when the device does get a green signal, it won't have any mechanical issues or design flaws.
Right now, Samsung is thinking about incorporating metal styled chassis in order to give Galaxy S series a makeover. Whether the tech vendor would like to bring metal styled body in its mid range Galaxy range is out of question at this hour.
When everyone is hoping to see Galaxy S5 in metallic body, another new rumor has surfaced on the web. The Galaxy S5 would feature a 16-mega pixel camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The Current bestseller - Galaxy S4 features a 13MP camera without OIS feature.
Moreover, Samsung is ready to announce Galaxy Note 3 on September 4 and word on the street is that OIS feature would be a part of 13MP camera sensor used in Note 3.
As of now, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom features a 16MP camera module with built-in Optical image stabilization (OIS). While, new reports surfaced recently claim that the Note 3 may feature 4K video capturing capability. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates.
