Micromax A27 Ninja: Low on Price, High on Features, Launches Online at Rs 3,399

Micromax has a reputation of making versatile gadgets in the Indian market segment. The company product portfolio includes feature phone, smartphones, tablets and recently Micromax also forayed into television manufacturing.

The company recently delivered a big hit in the form of A110 Canvas 2. However now, following their typical fashion, the folks at Micromax have finally launched yet another affordable smartphone. Last week, Gizbot informed you that the company is prepping to announce Micromax A27 Ninja- the phone with Swipe n share feature. Well, today onwards the online retailer Saholic is selling the device at Rs 3,399 and also Flipkart at Rs 3,499.

Micromax A27 Ninja- Highlighted specifications

The Micromax A27 Ninja is a feature rich smartphone with the goodness of Androidv 2.3. It has a 1GHz single core, an average 3.5 -inch TFT display with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. , 256MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Android 2.3, rear camera (unknown camera resolution),expandable memory up to 16GB via micro SD card, No 3G connectivity, 2G, Bluetooth 2.0 among other features. The Micromax A27 Ninja comes with Swipe n Share feature. This useful feature let users to drag content across the screen.

The specifications are not earth shaky, but the device could be popular choice for many who are still untouched by ‘smartphone ‘wave. The device is a perfect gift item on a Valentine's Day. It would be great, if Micromax has launched this handset in Champaign Red or just in Pink color. Online retailer Saholic is selling the device for a price tag of Rs.3399.

Competition check

Well, there are lots of handsets similarly priced to the Micromax A27 Ninja and comes with decent specs as well. Byond B51 is one among them. It has 1GHz processor, Android v2.3, dual SIM, a 3.5-inch display a 3-mega pixels rear camera and 1.3-mega pixels camera, expandable memory up to 32 GB via micro SD cards, Wi-Fi and No 3G. The device sells for Rs.3499.

Lava Iris 351 comes with 1GHz processor, Android v2.3, expandable memory up to 16GB via micro SD cards, a 3.5-inch TFT LCD display, a 2-mega pixels rear camera, No front facing camera and Wi-Fi. The device sells for Rs. 3899.

Gizbot is looking forward to have hands on review of the Micromax A27 Ninja in the coming weeks.
