Within a couple of months after the release of Canvas A100 phablet, Micromax has come up with another 5 inch device dubbed as A110 Canvas 2, launched as a direct competitor recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
The Superfone series smartphone vendor has started teasing A110 Canvas 2, their upcoming phablet on their Facebook page as well. Also, on Friday Gizbot reported that Snapdeal has listed the phablet for pre-order at an advance amount of Rs 500.
Now, there is more light on the pricing of the phablet. Being, an updated version of Canvas A100 priced at Rs 9,999, A110 Canvas 2 will retail at Rs 11,990 approximately as ManiacStore has listed the device for pre-order with the same price tag.
Speaking of the specifications of dual SIM A110 Canvas 2, the phablet will pack a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen IPS display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution, 1GHz dual core processor, Android 4.0 ICS, 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 0.3MP VGA front camera for video calling, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB and connectivity features including 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Further, the phablet has a 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery, which offers 5 hours talk time and 180 hours standby.
Consumers who are interested in the next generation Micromax phablet can pre-order it either from Snapdeal by paying an advance of Rs 500 or from ManiacStore by paying Rs 11,900.
