Competition

So far, Micromax was launching phablets with single and dual core processors and Android ICS platform. By launching an high-end quad core and Jelly Bean equipped device, the company has stepped into the highly competitive phablet arena, which is occupied by both local and global vendors including the leader of all Samsung Electronics.

Already, the Indian phablet space is filled with other offerings including Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Wickedleak Wammy Titan, Karbonn Smart Titanium 1, Swipe MTV Volt and more. However, with such a low price tag, quad core processor and HD display, the Micromax phablet could definitely prove to be successful.
