Earlier in January this year, India's leading smartphone vendor Micromax introduced its latest hybrid-tablet device called the LapTab at the International Consumer Electronics show (CES) held in Las Vegas. Following the same event, the company also released a number of devices in the budget category in the native market - even though the company has already ventured into the Russian market now.
Now the maker of Canvas Turbo has yet again released three of its new handsets in the Bolt series via e-commerce sites. The Micromax Bolt A24, Bolt A37B and Bolt A46 are available online at Rs. 2,999, Rs. 4,729 and Rs. 4,490 respectively. Also the Bolt A37 has been listed on Flipkart but the site has not revealed the price of the device.
Micromax Bolt A24
The Bolt A24 has a 2.8-inch QVGAscreen, powered by a 1 GHz Spreadrtum SC6820 processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It comes with support for 20 regional languages and has a VGA rear camera. It is supported by 256 MB of RAM and houses a minimum of 512 MB of on-board storage capacity which is expandable up to 16 GB via microSD card. The smartphone comes with a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support.
Micromax Bolt A37B
The Bolt A37B features a 3.5-inch HVGA screen and is powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek MT6572M processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. There is a 2MP rear camera along with a front facing VGA snapper. The device is powered by a 1450 mAh battery. The Dual SIM handset also supports 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Micromax Bolt A46
The Bolt A46 has a 4-inch WVGA screen, powered by 1 GHz MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with a 256 MB of RAM. This one runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It also comes with a 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash along with a front-facing VGA camera. There is 512MB worth of on-board storage and an expansion slot. Moreover, even this one is a Dual SIM handset and uses a decent 1500 mAh battery.
Micromax Bolt A37
The Micromax Bolt A37 comes with similar specifications as the Bolt A37B. It has a 3.5-inch TFT Capacitive Touchscreen with an HVGA resolution of 320 x 480 Pixels. It is powered by a 1 GHz Processor coupled with a 256 MB RAM and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The device houses an internal storage capacity of 512 MB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It comes powered by a 1450 mAh Li-Ion battery. This one also comes with the same 2MP rear camera and a front facing VGA shooter. The Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone also supports 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth as well.
The company has not officially launched these smartphones in the market as of now.
