There was an era when Indian consumers were indifferent towards technological advances. Now things have changed a lot. Today users especially young brigade would like to know what their favorite brand is coming up in the future. After the success of Micromax Canvas HD, the makers are now coming with its successor. The Canvas HD not only changed mobile handset market, but it also promoted brand globally. Originally the device was launched at Rs. 13,999, but soon its price was increased to Rs.14,999. Thus it created lot of hype due to unavailability of Canvas HD in the market.
Now Micromax is teasing Canvas 4, which is said to be Samsung Galaxy S4 crusher. It would be company's next flagship device, if promos are to be believed. The advert featuring Canvas 4 was first spotted during India vs. Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy match held on Saturday. Then, the two teaser promos were revealed through company's official Youtube channel. If you are looking to buy this device in the coming days then be prepared to pre-book it first, as Micromax will start taking pre-orders from June 28.
Only a few days left! The Micromax Canvas 4 is set to be the next-big thing in the smartphone arena not only in India but globally. Many believe that the phone could be priced under Rs.20,000. The Canvas A116 HD was priced less than Rs.15,000. Surely this handset with built-in octa -core should be priced around Rs.20,000. The former handset comes with quad-core processor. Another interesting buzz around the Canvas 4 is that coming of Full HD display.
Recently Lemon announced a Full HD display ducked handset for Rs. 17,999. It is said that Micromax is working hard to create 1080p Full HD phone for a very long time.
The street is abuzz with various cooked up stories around Canvas 4. The metal chassis is yet another point of discussion. It is to be seen what Micromax has in store for us as well as for consumers. Stay tuned to GizBot.
Today, GizBot has come with a feature story which extensively talks about Canvas 4. So here are five different ways to scrutinize soon to be announced Canvas 4.
Last month, it was said that Micromax is prepping a successor to Canvas A116 HD. The device could land in the market around June 30. It will arrive with a 5.5-inch Full HD display along with a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM which can be further expanded through microSD cards. Powered by latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it should be the best in class. The dual SIM powered device will reportedly carry a 3,300mAh Li Ion battery.
Earlier this year a concept image of Canvas 4 created lot of hysteria among users. The concept handset image designed by Suman Chatterjee was the only best source to think about futuristic Canvas 4. The designer tried to create the image based on iPhone 5. As per the concept image of Canvas 4 , the handset will have a 5.99-inch 1080p Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.5 Key Lime Pie, a 13-mega pixel camera, 2-mega pixel front facing camera, 16GB of internal memory , and a 3000mAh Li Ion battery. However, the designer didn't elaborate about the materials to be used in making the device.
This 17-second running teaser video is nothing less than a mystery. What Micromax is trying to say is not clear. However, it is possible to see Canvas 4 carrying an Octa-core processor. On the other side, the edge-to-edge display like Nexus 4 is another possibility. The front panel could be made of polycarbonate plastic, while the rear back panel might be jazzed up with metal chassis.
Yet another 17-second teaser shows a 13-mega pixel rear facing camera with LED Flash. Obviously, when leading tech vendors have already announced their flagship handsets with 13MP cameras; so naturally Micromax would likely to offer a device with loaded features.
