Micromax Canvas A105: 5-Inch Quad Core Phablet With KitKat Now Available Online at Rs 6,999
Off late, domestic vendor Micromax has been very aggressive in promoting its latest Android 4.4 Kitkat powered phones. In the span of few days, the company has introduced two new handsets running on Android 4.4 Kitkat mobile OS, and now Micromax brings yet another fascinating low-end phone, dubbed the Canvas A105. The new Micromax Canvas A105 is now listed on HomeShop18 at Rs. 6,999.
Micromax Canvas A105 - What about specs ?
The Canvas A105 is a stylish looking dual-SIM phone. The biggest highlight of the Micromax Canvas A105 is the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat-out-of-the-box. Other than the latest running software, it features a respectable 5-inch display having a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of on-board storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the phone come with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with a single LED Flash. Also, add a VGA quality front-facing shooter.
On the connectivity side, the Canvas A105 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Dual-SIM, A-GPS and Bluetooth. The makers have added a large 1,900mAh battery fitted inside. The device measures 10.5mm in terms of thickness and weighs it at 180 grams.
Micromax Canvas A105 - To Buy or Not To Buy
For a phone in this price segment, the Micromax Canvas A105 is looking tempting enough. But before you finalize your choice, make sure to check out other phones in the same price segment. Lava Iris X1, for instance, is also equally enchanting phone.
Priced at Rs. 8,000, the device offers better build compared to the Canvas A105 or Motorola Moto E for that matter. On the spec front, the Iris X1 features a 4.5-inch ( 480 x 854) pixels resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage, a microSD card (up to 32GB), an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a large 1800mAh battery. If you can stretch your budget, the Android 4.4 Kitkat powered Lava Iris X1 is undoubtedly the better phone.
