Micromax Canvas Blaze HD EG116 Coming Soon With 5-inch HD Display And More
It looks like while the tech biggies were busy at the International Mobile World Congress 2014, India-based leading domestic smartphone maker Micromax was also making some plans for this year. The company has now listed its latest device called the Canvas Blaze HD EG116 on its official website. However, the company has not mentioned the price of the device as of now but it looks like it will launch the device soon in the market.

Talking about the device in detail, it is quite similar to the company's previously launched Canvas Duet II (EG111). The device comes with a 5-inch touch screen IPS display offering an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8625Q processor coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS.
There is no need to worry about imaging as it features an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash along with a 2MP front-facing snapper for taking selfies and making video calls.

Apart from 3G (EVDO Rev.A /HSDPA), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS support the device also features a Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) support.
Micromax has chosen a 4GB native memory unit for the device which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
The device is powered by a 2000 mAh batterywhcih according to the company will offer a stand-by time of 150 hours and a 5hours of talk-time.
In terms of app, the device comes pre-loaded with few like Opera browser, spuul and Hike Messenger.
After going through the specs, the device looks pretty good provided it comes with a decent price tag. However, it will be competitng with a number of other Indian smartphones from Intex, Lava, Xolo, Karbonn and more when it becomes available in the market.
