India-based smartphone manufacturer and vendor Micromax released its latest device called Canvas Elanza A93 via online retailer Snapdeal just yesterday. And now the company's another Canvas smartphone has allegedly appeared online. The news comes from the tweet, which Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom posted a couple of days ago. The device comes dubbed as Canvas Duet 2 and the tweet says that it will be priced at Rs. 15,790 and would go on sale later in a couple of days.
At the same time images of Canvas Duet 2's retail boxes have also been leaked by an unofficial blog named MicromaxCanvas. The images also reveal the specs of the device. Thus a unique feature about the phone, according to the leaked retail box, is that the device comes with a (Dual SIM) GSM and CDMA support. This is the first one in the Canvas series to have such functionality. However, previously Micromax in partnership MTS came up with Canvas Blaze MT500 smartphone with a similar feature.
