India-based leading smartphone maker Micromax has already been announced as one of the OEMs that will come up with a low-cost smartphone based on Android One program. The copmany has been soaring quite high among other domestic brands, however, it has not been able to beat Samsung in India.

Anyways, Micr0omax has been launching several smartphones off late in the native market and yet again in the recent past, it released its latest Canvas Duet AE90 in the market in an attempt to beat other OEMs and keep up its reputation.

Micromax Canvas Duet AE90, currently available via Infibeam at a price tag of Rs. 8,999, comes with a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) touch screen IPS display and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with a 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS.
