Micromax Canvas Fire A104 with Android 4.4 Announced For Rs 6,999

Micromax, which has been launching several KitKat based smartphones in the native market has now announced yet another similar device called the Canvas Fire A104. The budget-friendly smartphone is perhaps the successor of the company's previously launched Canvas Fire A093.

Micromax Canvas Fire A104 with Android 4.4 Announced For Rs 6,999

The Canvas Fire A104 is priced at Rs. 6,999 and comes with a trending specs like KitKat OS, quad Core CPU and more. To be precise, it is more in the line of Moto E, which, in fact started a trend of low-end KitKat phones. Micromax will be offering the smartphone in Black & Gold, White & Gold and White & Silver color variants.

Micromax Fire A104: Key Specifications

The latest one comes with a 4.5-inch 854 x 480pixels FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4.2 OS. It packs a 5MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 0.3MP front facing shooter. Internal storage seats at 4GB which can be further expanded via microSD card slot. The Canvas Fire comes with dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-front speakers and is powered by 1900 mAh battery.

Also, according to Micromax, the phone will come pre-loaded with a number of application like M! Games, M! Insurance, M! Security, M! Live, MAd, Opera Mini, BookMyShow, Clean Master, Getit, Kingsoft Office and Reverie Smartpad.

Competition

The upcoming smartphone from Micromax will be standing against the most popular Motorola Moto E and all the budget phones with KitKat devices that were launched after that. As of now devices like, Micromax Canvas Unite 2, Canvas Engage, Lava Iris X1, Xolo Q600S and others have been launched in India with quad core processor and Android KitKat OS at the similar price range and thus all these devices will have to battle against the latest offering from Micromax in India.
