Micromax Canvas Fun A63 Listed on Company's Website: Top 5 Budget Smartphones in Danger Now

It appears that Micromax is all set to bring more entry level Android powered handsets to achieve its target of becoming the No. 1 smartphone vendor in India. Last week, we saw the entry of Micromax Canvas Fun A74 into the market.

Now, another handset from the house of Micromax is waiting to get official. Few hours back, Twitter sensation @MMXnewscaster had posted alleged press shots of forthcoming Fun A63 alongside internal specifications.

Without wasting any more time, the Canvas 4 maker officially announced A63 Canvas Fun on company's official website. Price and availability is yet to be confirmed by Canvas Doodle 2 maker.

Let's have a look at the highlighted specifications and features of Micromax Canvas Fun A63. 

Display and Design

The Canvas Fun A63 carries a 4-inch WVGA display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The phone is indeed a low end Android model with entry level specifications. The Canvas Fun A63 is targeted at those consumers, who are yet to explore the amazing world of smart devices. It's a funky looking handset and should be available in three sizzling colors: Raging Red, Mystic Blue and Midnight Black.

Processor and OS

The Canvas A63 packs a 1.3-GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). The biggest advantage of this phone is the coming of dual -core processor at an affordable cost. Now, you don't have to worry about running Hi-Fi games. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.

Camera

The Canvas Fun A63 not only stuffed with latest version of Android OS and a dual core processor, but it also includes a 2MP rear facing camera with supported LED Flash light. Also add a VGA quality front facing camera.

Connectivity options and battery

Highlighted connectivity options include: a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, FM Radio, and miniUSB 2.0, amongst others. The handset supports 3G connectivity. The makers have added a 1,500mAh Li Ion battery.

Price

Lava 3G 402

Lava 3G 402 comes with a 4-inch WVGA display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It packs a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). The phone supports dual SIM phone and 3G connectivity. There's a 3-mega pixel rear facing camera on the back and on the front VGA quality camera is given. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The handset measures 11.4mm in terms of thickness and weighs including 124grams battery. The makers have added a 1,500mAh Li Ion battery inside. The Lava 3G 402 is priced at Rs. 5499. The phone is available in three dashing colors: White, Grey and Red.

The Spice Stellar Glamour Mi- 436 packs a 4-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). There's a 5MP camera on the rear back and VGA quality camera on the front. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS, among others. The device is now available for Rs. 5999 in the Indian market.

Asking price – Rs. 6,190

The Intex Cloud Y2 packs a 4-inch display. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4GB ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 5-mega pixel rear facing camera on the rear. Also add a VGA quality camera on the front. The makers have added a 1,500mAh Li Ion battery. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, A-GPS, among others.

Asking price – Rs. 7,490

The Videocon A42 smartphone is stuff with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 5MP rear facing camera with an LED Flash and a 1.3MP front facing camera. The makers have added a 1,700mAh Li Ion battery. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, and GPS, among others.
