Micromax Canvas Knight A350 Launched in Russia: What about India Release?
The street was abuzz with rumors related to the hype surrounding Micromax's first 8-core smartphone.
The high-end phone, which was supposed to debut in India late last year, finally launched in Moscow earlier this week.
Although it is surprising to see that the official press release sent to Indian media does not share special mention about Micromax Canvas Knight A350 in particular. However, according to PCMag.ru, India's second largest smartphone maker has already launched the Canvas Knight A350 in Russia. The company will soon announce the retail availability of Canvas Knight A350 in select International markets, including Russia.
Additionally, a blog named mforum.ru, has got it hands on the press shots, and confirmed specs of Micromax Canvas Knight A350.

Unlike the Canvas Turbo A250, which was inspired by HTC One (check rear-back); the latest flagship phone, however, has been intelligently lifted from Apple's design page. Indian consumers might recognize Micromax as the coolest handset manufacturer in India, but the truth isn't always pretty.
Further it also appears that the Canvas Knight A350 does not come with a non-removable battery, which may raise eyebrows. The handset measures 7.3mm in terms of thickness; though, actual weight is not known at the moment. The Canvas Knight A350 comes in White and Black colors. Moreover, the black version is expected to have a gold colored chamfered edge. Remember the gold variant of iPhone 5S?
The Canvas Knight A350 features a 5-inch Full HD display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, now a common feature amongst high-end phones. Under the hood, there's a 2GHz 8-core processor, backed by 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. On the imaging side, the device is blessed with a whopping 16-megapixel camera sensor placed on the rear-back with dual LED Flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera given for long Skype calls. The makers have added a 2,350mAh battery fitted inside. We don't know whether the Indian version will be having dual-SIM feature.
@MMXNewscaster expects the device to be launched in India around Rs. 23,000 to Rs 24,000.
There are couple of phone available having an 8-core processor under the hood. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
