Micromax Canvas Knight A350 With Octa Core CPU, 16MP Camera Launched For Rs 19,999
Finally the wait for the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 smartphone is over in India as the company has officially released it today at a price tag of Rs. 19,999. But the smartphone will be retailed only from the company's official store starting today itself . The latest handset can be bought in Black, White and Gold and Black and Gold color variants. The device is already available on the company's official store.
India-based smartphone vendor, which is currently tagged as the 2nd largest manufacturer in its native land, is also the world's 11th largest mobile maker. And the device, which was launched today, was in fact launched in the Russian market earlier this year.
Talking about the details of the device, it comes with a 5-inch IPS display offering a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It sports a full aluminum body casing adding style and sturdiness to the device.
The Canvas Knight boasts a MediaTek 2GHz Tru Octa-Core MT6592T processor coupled with a 2GB of RAM. Sadly, it runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which is quite an old OS if compared with the latest KitKat version.
There is a massive 16MP rear camera paired with OmniVision's CameraChip sensor and a new generation M8 Largan Lens, through which users can record videos at a resolution of 1920 x 1080pixels at a speed of 30frames/second. Also the rear camera comes with voice command capabilities wherein a user just needs to say 'Cheese' or 'Capture' to click images while on-the-move. It also delivers a full HD 1080p video recording and playback functionalities. Also there is a 8MP front-facing snapper which is rarely seen in smartphones these days.
Connectivity options remain regular with the inclusion of 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS support and yes, it is a Dual SIM compatible handset.
A massive internal storage unit has been offered in this phones which precisely is 32GB (25GB for mass storage and 1.5 GB for applications).
The device which measures 7.3mm thick draws its energy from a 2350 mAh battery.
Looking at the specs, the Canvas Knight smartphone looks like a compelling handset and even the camera used in the device sounds pretty cheesy at this price point. Moreover, the OmniVision CameraChip sensors used in the device is capable of capturing high resolution images in rapid succession, fulfilling image processing functions, image size, frame rate, exposure, gain, cropping and orientation are programmable through the Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB). The Canvas Knight comes with the unique 'Camerazzi' camera feature which offers a host of innovative functions including 360 Degree Panorama, Cinemagraph and Object Eraser.
The phone also packs in smart gestures that give users an array of features like, 'Proximity Answer Phone, Upside Silent, Upside Speaker and Proximity Dial Phone' for hassle free functioning.
