Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 Now on Sale in India: Top 10 Online Deals

India's second largest smartphone vendor has recently come up with a brand new mid-segment handset. Priced at Rs. 14,999, the Canvas Magnus A117 is an enhanced version of popular device from the same manufacturer, the Canvas HD A116.

the Canvas Magnus A117 packs a 5-inch IPS display having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, backed by MT6589T (MediaTek) chipset and 1GB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 4GB, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash. Also add a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear-camera supports HD video recording.

The Canvas Magnus A117 comes pre-loaded with an array of apps. Some of the highlighted apps include: M! Live, M! Security, M! Unlock, Games (Fruit Devil, Dark Man, Jelly jumper), Kingsoft, Spuul, Hike, Game Hub, Opera Mini, Look Away, FOTA, BBM Link.

Other connectivity options include: 3G, 2G (EDGE), Bluetooth 4.0, Dual SIM, A-GPS, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, amongst other features. The device also features smart gesture options:Proximity sensor, Light sensor, Gravity sensor, and Motion sensor. The makers have added a 2000mAh battery.
