Micromax has released a teaser image promoting its Canvas Spark smartphone. The picture, posted on the company's Twitter account, offers no major clues about the features of the device, which could be unveiled in the coming days.
Further today, Snapdeal, one of India's largest online stores, has also confirmed the upcoming Canvas Spark on Twitter. It seems that the popular online retailer will exclusively carry the device, although we've no official confirmation on the same.
It reads "We are coming up with a new product. Think you could help India snap up this deal?" #SparksCANFly.<blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" lang="en"><p>.<a href="https://twitter.com/snapdeal">@snapdeal</a> The hint is in the picture. Let the guessing game begin.Surprise in store for 1 lucky winner <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SparksCANFly?src=hash">#SparksCANFly</a> <a href="http://t.co/dM7NngHv4W">pic.twitter.com/dM7NngHv4W</a></p>— Micromax Mobile (@Micromax_Mobile) <a href="https://twitter.com/Micromax_Mobile/status/586476084440342529">April 10, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Snapdeal's doesn't mention the Canvas Spark outright, but the hints are pretty obvious. The use of phrases like "SparksCANFly" leaves nothing to the imagination.
As of now, the availability and release date of the smartphone is not known yet as this is merely a teaser, but we're hoping Micromax or Snapdeal will soon unravel the sensational device in the country.
It's possible that we'll see a sequel to the Canvas Knight. Micromax hasn't launched its next-generation flagship device - since the beginning of 2014. That's a long gap, which has led to a lot of speculation about what's coming next from the house of Micromax.
