After appointing Hugh Jackman as it's brand ambassador, Micromax has not only surprised the tech community but also made its fans proud.
However, along with the announcement of this news, Micromax has also been teasing its new handset called Canvas Turbo for quite sometime now. However, now, MMXNewscaster has leaked the specs of the same handset on Twitter by posting an alleged image of the Canvas Turbo's top rear panel. The official specs of the handset is not out at the moment.
According to the MMXNewscaster, the upcoming handset, Canvas Turbo will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. Apart from this, the Twitter leaker did not reveal anything else.
When it comes to rumors, the tech community believes that the Canvas Turbo will come with a 5 inch full-HD screen making it the first smartphone from the company featuring such a display.
The handset would also feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It would obviously be a dual-SIM smartphone with a micro-SIM slot placed on the left side of the panel. There would also be regular features like Micro-USB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, power button and volume rocker buttons.
Apart from these, the previously leaked specs of the Canvas Turbo hints at the Mediatek MT6589T chipset with 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 357MHz GPU, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 64GB microSD card support. It would probably run on Android Jelly Bean v4.2 which the company would update to 4.3 version soon after its launch.
Sadly there is no information about the pricing and availability of the handset at the moment but GizBot believes that the handset will retail at an initial price of Rs. 22,000 in India. The device is speculated to hit the stores before first week of November.
